It wasn&amp;rsquo;t about hunting for the cheapest part on the shelf. You don&amp;rsquo;t have to rip out the wiring in your oven or spend a weekend reconfiguring things; you just pop them in and get back to work.&#xA;We also add specific coatings to the glass. This shifts the emission spectrum so the heat actually sinks into the plastic instead of just scorching the surface.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The trade-off.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;The upside is obvious: you stop replacing bulbs every three months. Your maintenance headache mostly disappears.&#xA;But these lamps run hotter on the surface than the standard stuff. Because of that, you&amp;rsquo;ve got to keep an eye on your reflector alignment. If your reflectors are warped, the heat won&amp;rsquo;t hit the preform right, and you&amp;rsquo;ll end up with uneven walls in your plastic parts.&#xA;Just get the alignment dialed in, and you&amp;rsquo;ll see your maintenance cycle stretch out significantly.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
